About us a few words about who we are
UAB "Ekoamzius" is developing company founded in year 2001. The main principle of the company is ecology. UAB "Ekoamzius" makes and builds (Norway, Germany, Italy, Austria, France, Denmark and others) timber houses, cottages, bathhouses, restaurants and buildings of other purposes of Karelian pine and it can be proud of high quality, rising work amounts annually, short terms of work completion and low prices, because the company is the direct importer of this wood.
The wood is tilled by the latest technique. With this technique in our workshop we can make one house in three days, to make the house by handicraft takes from two to three weeks. After wood is tilled the house is being assembled in the workshop of arrangement i.e. the telltale arrangement of the house is made, after that the logs are being marked according to the axes and numbered, after the telltale arrangement and marking of the logs the constructions of the house are being dissembled and warehoused until they are transported to the place indicated by the customer. Building materials and technologies used by UAB "Ekoamzius" are eco-friendly.
Wooden houses are built of selected Karelian pine timber. The age of the trees seeks 100 – 140 years and the thickness of the building’s wall can be from 18 – 50 centimeters. We use round, round handcrafted and one side cut timber.
Round timber made by machining
First, the logs are cut, dried from 3-4 weeks, and then carefully selected, calibrated and sanded the sides of logs. Log cabin building, as well as preparation of logs by hand (Norwegian tools). Each house is constructed in a factory enterprise. After marking the logs and the wall project, the house is disassembled, packed and shipped to the construction site.
The thickness of the wall made of the cylinder timber made by machining can be from 280 to 260 millimeters. The logs are selected to make sure the diameter is proper and then it is parched in natural way. That gives an opportunity to guaranty the quality. After that logs are being cut according to the proper dimensions and prepared to be rigged up. The telltale arrangement is made for every house, then the logs are being numbered and the house is being dissembled and prepared for transportation to the place which is indicated by the customer.
Round handcrafted timber (Canadian lock)
The thickness of the wall made of this timber may seek from 200 to 500 millimeters. Timber houses made of the natural handcrafted timber are grave; they reflect the natural beauty of the nature.
The bark of is being taken off the logs, the logs are being shaved and prepared to be rigged up manually.
One side cut timber (Norvegian lock)
Firstly the logs are being nicked and after that it is carefully selected. The rigging up of the house, just as timber preparation is being made manually. Every house is built in the factory of the company. When the logs are marked and when the plan of the walls is made the house is being dissembled, packed and transported to the place of building.
